Ironforge is a new project partner of the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM)
The State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) is digitizing its processes to meet growing demands in the field of migration. Ironforge Consulting will support the SEM in this effort over the next seven years as a project partner—from design through to operation.
Following an extensive call for proposals, the SEM selected six strong partners to work together to address current and future challenges in the field of migration policy. Out of a total of 36 proposals submitted, we scored the highest marks on the qualitative award criteria.
Immigration Administration in the Digital Age
The SEM is driving digital transformation through several pioneering projects to meet the growing demands in the field of migration. The goal is to achieve comprehensive digitization and process optimization of workflows within the SEM. Plans include the complete digitization of core business processes related to naturalization, asylum, entry, residence, and work; the introduction of electronic case management; and optimized interfaces for data exchange with government agencies and partner organizations.
